Imagine you receive a Facebook message from one of your friends asking for help. They are in a foreign country and they need you to wire them some money because they lost their wallet and air tickets. Oh my God, a hacker has broken into your online Facebook friends account and he is using their profile to lure you into transferring money to them. People believe that the messages are directly received from people they know from social networks. You cannot believe everything you read. From reading this blog you should think twice if your friend or family member is in trouble with some other prove to back their Facebook response. There is a possibility that has to cross your mind that their account password has been stolen and have lost control of their Facebook profiles especially from a wireless device. To solve these problems call them or email them , use googleplex or other social networking sites to confirm that what they are telling you is truly from them and not from a criminal/fraudsters ready to invade your privacy.
Other issues pertaining to Facebook or other social networking sites is employers are now searching websites for information about you. Some employers collect all this information, present it to you but will later destroy and personal information that is private under your commend. I would not want that to happen to me but I would not say anything on my Facebook that I would not want the whole world to know. I guess people should have the same mind set so they would never have to worry about privacy issues and fraud in the first place.
